How Much Does a Notary Cost?
The total fee is Travel Fee + Notarization Fee.
*New clients, Military, and Veterans receive a $5 discount on the travel fee.

The State of California sets the signature fee.
Signing Agent Fee: $150
Payment is due upon scheduling. An invoice with payment details will be sent. We accept all major credit cards, checks, Venmo, and Zelle.
What are the Different Types of Notarization in California?
California allows its notaries to perform multiple types of notarization. If you’re getting a document notarized in California, the notary will need to fill out a CA notarial certificate. These are often already attached to the document when you receive it from a lawyer or a title company. But if your document lacks notarial language, your notary will need to attach a notarial certificate.

What Is My Responsibility?
- All signers must be present in person
- Every signer must have proper photo identification (*see complete list below), must be completely able to
understand the significance of the document, and must sign of their own free will
- Document must be completely filled in, no blank spaces (except client signature & notarization section)
- By law, CA notaries cannot give legal advice - please be sure to speak with your attorney or other advisor and get answers to any questions you may have BEFORE the signing!
What are Acceptable Photo IDs?
*Acceptable Photo ID's
1. Photo identification must be valid (not expired and not temporary) and can include:
- CA driver's license or non-driver ID (such as Senior ID) from CA Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
- US passport
2. Additional forms of ID can be accepted if they are valid (not expired and not temporary) AND contain photo,
signature, serial number and physical description, including:
- Driver's license or non-driver ID from another US state
- Driver's license issued by Mexico or Canada
- Valid passport or consular identifiication from signer's country of citizenship
- Employee ID card from any state, county or city agency or office in CA
- US military ID that contains all the required elements (e.g. not the CAC)
- ID card issued by a federally recognized tribal government
